About the Job
The successful candidate will possess sound knowledge and experience dealing with complex health matters and managing staff, along with excellent communication and customer service skills.
To be considered for this position you must hold qualifications acceptable to the Chief Health Officer to be appointed as an Authorised Officer under the Public Health Act 2016. You must also have experience in all aspects of on-site effluent disposal and environmental noise.
A salary in the range of $97,773.17 - $102,817.52 will be offered based on ability and experience. A vehicle is available for commuter use, with private use by agreement.
Interviews will be held week commencing 16 January 2023.
Selection Criteria
Please outline your experience and approach to leading a team in the delivery of high quality health services.
Describe and provide examples of your approach to investigating environmental health or public health complaints.
Outline and provide examples to illustrate your professional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating your ability to liaise and negotiate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in an informative and positive manner.
Tell us about and provide examples demonstrating your capacity to understand complex problems and formulate fit-for-purpose solutions.
