Fire Protection Officer
About the Job
A key focus of this position is to carry out routine inspections of Shire managed reserves to identify and arrange appropriate bushfire risk mitigation treatments.
This position will also involve responding to bushfires during the high threat period to carry out suppression activities and initial control/incident management.

Please describe your ability to prioritise workloads to achieve outcomes in a timely manner.
Outline your experience in liaising with internal and external customers at all levels in an informative and positive manner, including your conflict resolution skills.
Tell us about your knowledge of the local area and community, including your working knowledge of the Bush Fires Act 1954, Shire of Mundaring’s Firebreak and Fuel Load Notice and powers of a FCO.
Describe and provide examples illustrating your ability to develop and evaluate possible solutions to problems.
