Bushfire Risk Management Officer
About the Job
This opportunity will involve obtaining commitment from key stakeholders to have programmed bush fire risk management treatments in place and carried out to reduce bush fire risk in the Shire.
A key focus of this role is the updating and maintenance of the Shire’s Bushfire Risk Management Plan and working with a team towards improving the Shire’s Bush Fire Area Access strategy.
Selection Criteria
Provide examples demonstrating your ability to liaise with internal and external customers at all levels in an informative and positive manner, including conflict resolution skills.
Outline your knowledge of Local Government and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services in relation to the application of fire mitigation activities.
Tell us about your experiences in stakeholder engagement and meetings, providing examples.
Describe and provide examples of when you have had to work both independently and as a part of a team?
