About the Job
An exciting opportunity exists in the Shire’s Operations Services for a Coordinator Parks and Environment who is self-motivated, versatile and a resourceful leader.
The Coordinator Parks and Environment plays a key role in people management, budgeting, planning of works and implementing strategies to improve the overall efficiency of parks services. Formal qualifications in horticulture or similar and extensive experience in a supervisor’s capacity in the areas of parks and gardens is essential.
Selection Criteria
1. Tell us about your experience in amenity horticulture, natural environment management and landscaping including leading and building teams.
2. Detail your experience in financial management including budget control, job costing and financial operating systems.
3. Outline your experience in project management of parks maintenance operations, capital works and contractor management.
4. Please detail your experience in undertaking stakeholder engagement and negotiating with people at all levels.
