We’re looking for a motivated communications professional who can write with purpose, build connections and create content that reflects the unique character of the area.

As part of a small and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the Shire communicates with our community across digital platforms, media and publications. Collaboration is key as you’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to help inform, engage and inspire residents, businesses and visitors to this special part of the Perth Hills.

In this role, you will research, write and edit high-quality content for media releases, newsletters, websites, presentations and publications. You will coordinate proactive media opportunities, respond to media enquiries, and contribute to social media campaigns, online content and printed materials that reflect the Shire’s values and brand.
