About the Job
Fantastic opportunity to work at Lake Leschenaultia in Chidlow, a 168-hectare bushland reserve which offers swimming, picnicking, canoeing, camping, cycling and bushwalking.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to ensure Lake Leschenaultia excels in providing a safe and enjoyable visitor experience to the tens of thousands of people who visit each year.
The successful applicant will have experience in managing facilities, nature reserves, parks or campgrounds. They will be able to build, support and maintain a great team; effectively manage a budget, contractors and projects; minimise and manage risks; and help plan for the future.

Commuter use of a Shire vehicle is available with an option to negotiate for private use.

Selection Criteria
Provide details of your substantial and broad experience in facility and/or park management, including the scope and scale of the facilities, staffing, contractor management and strategic/forward planning.
Demonstrate your knowledge of Work Health and Safety and risk management by providing an example of how you have ensured legislative compliance and created a safe environment for both staff and visitors.
Demonstrate your budgeting and financial management skills, highlighting one instance where you effectively allocated resources, reduced costs, or maximised financial efficiency in a facility or park management role.
Describe how you created a cohesive and productive working environment and provide an example of how you built and motivated your team.
