This opportunity exists for an innovative, customer focussed individual who is looking to make an impact.
In this diverse role, you will:
• be responsible for developing and delivering youth activities in collaboration with local young people, educational institutions, community groups and key partners
• facilitate the delivery of youth services that align with the Shire’s Youth Informing Strategy, ensuring the needs of young people across the Shire are met
• identify and pursue external funding opportunities to support the development of youth initiatives
• have exceptional writing skills and a proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to deliver impactful youth activities
• possess strong research skills and a sound understanding of contemporary youth engagement and community development practices.
Previous experience in youth program delivery and organising activities for young people will be highly regarded.
Selection Criteria
Detail your considerable experience in establishing and maintaining partnerships with a range of organisations for youth focussed projects or programs.
Provide details of your experience in developing, implementing and evaluating youth activities.
Provide an example of a time when you successfully identified funding sources and applied for grants to support a community or youth initiative.
Explain your developed ability to research, analyse information and prepare concise reports.
