Community Landcare Officer
About the Job
We are seeking a self-motivated and resourceful person to assist with implementation of the Shire’s Local Biodiversity Strategy 2023-2030 through liaison with community volunteer groups, local organisations and individuals associated with landcare projects and programs in the Shire.
To be successful, you will possess well developed skills in natural resource management, high level stakeholder collaboration, project and program delivery essentials along with an understanding of local government processes, integrated catchment management and working with community groups and volunteers.
Selection Criteria
Provide details of your experience in environmental conservation projects including the scope and scale.
Demonstrate your knowledge of WHS and risk management, provide examples.
Describe and provide examples to demonstrate your experience in handling difficult situations with members of the community. Tell us what you did.
Outline and provide examples illustrating your written and verbal communication and organisational skills.
