School Based Traineeship - Workplace Skills (Operations)
About the Job
Do you have an interest in gaining office skills?
We are looking for motivated and reliable students commencing year 11 or 12 in 2025 who are keen to kick start their careers by completing a Certificate II school based traineeship in Workplace Skills. To be considered, you will need to be at least 16 years old by February 2025 and attending a secondary institution within the Mundaring or neighbouring Shires.
You will complete your course units while benefiting from paid on the job work experience one day a week at the Operations Centre in the Shire of Mundaring. At the end of the traineeship, you will have completed a Nationally Recognised Qualification (dependent on passing all units) which counts towards your Western Australian Certificate of Education. The Certificate II runs for up to 12 months, with an option to progress to a Certificate III traineeship.
Selection Criteria
Are you aware that you will work one day a week at the Operations Centre from 8.00am -3.30pm, including during school holidays? Please respond YES or NO
